PHP/Laravel Software Engineer

Join us at Lumosa, where we develop cutting-edge products and tools to empower our customers. As a PHP/Laravel Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, working across multiple tech stacks to deliver impactful results.
What will you do?
- Drive innovation by embracing change and improving processes;
- Work closely with other teams on internal tools, customer-facing products and infrastructure;
- Design and develop scalable and high-performance back-end, front-end and embedded applications;
- Integrate external APIs and services using REST, WebSockets and more;
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure performance, reliability and maintainability;
- Use your technical insight to solve complex challenges—from research to implementation;
- Help modernize existing applications to meet current standards;
- Work with a wide range of technologies—curiosity and eagerness to learn are key at Lumosa!
What do you bring?
- A bachelor’s degree or similar relevant experience;
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role;
- Solid experience with PHP and Laravel;
- Familiarity with C# and/or TypeScript is a plus;
- Experience with technologies like MySQL, RabbitMQ, Docker or MongoDB is a bonus;
- A proactive attitude and the drive to improve processes and products;
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset;
- Experience with testing frameworks and applying testing best practices;
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum ways of working.
