Development of Aldeia do Futebol
As part of the “Uma Associação, uma Academia” project launched by the Portuguese Football Federation, the Aveiro Football Association established Aldeia do Futebol to centralise its operations. This initiative led to a close partnership between the association and the municipality of Aveiro, working together to create a modern sports complex designed to train both young talents and referees in one place.
Stands and pitches lit by Lumosa
In the first phase, Lumosa delivered the complete lighting installation for the new training centre. This included an official 7-a-side pitch and a full-size 11-a-side pitch with a covered stand for 300 spectators. Six comfortable changing rooms and a spacious parking area were also added.
At the heart of the project is the sports lighting. For the 11-a-side pitch, we installed twenty CS860 Pro luminaires, delivering an average illuminance of 360 lux and a uniformity of 0.82, fully compliant with Class II of the EN 12193:2018 standard.
For the 7-a-side pitch, eight CS840 luminaires were installed, also meeting the same class and standard. This resulted in a light level of 210 lux and a uniformity of 0.75.
