The construction hall at Damen is extremely tall. That makes it a challenge to achieve uniform lighting all the way down to the floor. With a custom light plan, we made sure the light was directed downward in a narrow beam, providing the right intensity exactly where it's needed. The workspace is now well lit, with minimal glare and clear visibility.

LEDs innovate
The old lighting in the loading bay, yard and welding hall was in urgent need of replacement. For Damen, two things were essential: saving energy and ensuring a long product lifespan. How did we deliver that? By first gaining insight into their energy use and identifying where savings could be made. Based on this deep dive, we created a tailored plan. Better light distribution allowed us to lower the light intensity, resulting in greater energy efficiency.
