Located at Goodall Reserve in Snells Beach, the Mahurangi East Tennis Club is home to the thriving seaside tennis community – boasting seven synthetic tennis courts, club rooms and world class lighting on the main four courts. Curious about the conversion to LEDs?
The best possible light spread
The challenge here was to get good illumination on the two centre courts which historically have been dim and difficult to accommodate tennis at night. With the use of narrow focus angles, the light now projected to the centre of the bank of courts provides excellent illumination. No longer any problems with courts two and three being dim. They are lit to over 500 lux and well serves the tennis community going forward.
