Twin Turfs shine in new light
The installation of the lighting is part of a larger project to upgrade the facilities at Manawaroa Park – two new fields, cameras, new dug‑outs, and now fantastic LED lighting. The installation started with a survey of the locations and heights of the light poles. Next, a precise lighting plan was drawn up. The lighting arrived pre‑configured, so installation involved removing the old luminaires and ballasts and installing the new Lumosa CS860pro fixtures.
Because the location is frequently used for international matches, it was essential to have a lighting solution equivalent to the best in all of New Zealand. What has been delivered meets that standard and even offers possibilities for television broadcasting of matches.
