Clube de Ténis de Ovar is nestled in nature, surrounded by tranquil spaces for rest and recreation. The club runs a tennis school and offers six tennis courts and four beach tennis courts — making it a leading sports venue in the region.
The Lumosa solution
To create the best possible conditions for playing, Clube de Ténis de Ovar chose to replace the conventional lighting on one double and one single tennis court with a sustainable LED solution from Lumosa.
The double court was fitted with four CS840 PRO luminaires, and the single court with two CS840 PRO luminaires. Thanks to this upgrade, the club now benefits from optimal lighting conditions and an energy-efficient, future-proof installation.
No light pollution
Clube de Ténis de Ovar is located in a wooded area where minimising light pollution is essential for protecting the surrounding nature. With the new LED lighting from Lumosa, the club now meets this important environmental requirement — light is focused precisely on the court, with minimal disturbance beyond it.
